| Gathering Night 1, September 7th This night—ahh, it never gets old! We had 20 people gathered, but they were 20 hearts fully on fire for the Lord. Though the number was small, the atmosphere was rich with peace.The word for the night was “Slow Down.” At first, the room felt a bit disconnected, but God revealed the true need—many of us were carrying heavy burdens, moving too fast, and simply needed to pause. As we slowed down together, the presence of the Lord brought simplicity, stillness, and refreshment.A special highlight was Lizzy McQuillin, the Palmer High School student with a deep passion for the Lord. She shared a bold testimony about her life and challenged everyone with a warning about the dangers of lukewarm faith. BIG SHOUT OUT TO LIZZY!This Gathering became a preparation for what was to come—the reminder to remain faithful, to hold on to what God has already built, and to continue pressing forward in ministry even when circumstances feel gloomy. |
| Gathering Night 2, September 21st This night was amazing—full of newness! We had 23 people join us, and the evening began with a fresh outlook and a powerful time of prayer before worship. The Lord gave us a guiding word for the night: “Let go of structure & let the Holy Spirit lead.”As we released our plans, worship flowed freely—even running out of songs quickly—but the Spirit led us beautifully. We spent time saying the names of our family members out loud and praying over them. Then we prayed for friends who don’t yet know Jesus, lifting them up in faith.A special moment came as we read 1 Corinthians 13, “The Way of Love,” reflecting on the night’s theme: “Increase in Love.” We were reminded to grow in love—for one another, for the Lord, and to remain faithful in all we do.Later, worship continued, followed by prayers for the Messick family and the leaders attending a wedding out of town. By the end of the night, we left in a spirit of newness—God had answered prayers and moved in fresh ways.Even without a formal message, this Gathering reminded us of our mission: Seek Jesus. Be filled. Pour out. To be the change in your school. |
